It's not that I'm ungrateful. I'm thankful for a great many things not the least of which include Braden waking me up at 5am by tapping my chest and saying, "Snap out of it, Donny." I'm also thankful for a good laugh, like the one I got while checking in on facebook and finding that Social Interview had asked Ryan, "What makes Missy sweat." and seeing that he had he responded Trent Edwards.
Excuse me while I reapply my deodorant.
In addition to being grateful for the multitude of beautiful men pictured on the Internet, I'm thankful for my upbringing. I had a solid homelife. We always had juice and snacks and this brought me a great deal of security. This no doubt explains my super fit and trim figure.
When I was eleven I had the opportunity to star in a music video. Well not so much as star in a music video as remake someone else's music video for fun. There were three guys in the band and since there were three girls on the remake we were each assigned a band member to copy.
I was the black one. It was the natural choice given my pasty white complexion.
I don't have a copy of our version but I found the original on YouTube. I know that a lot of you can't watch the videos at work and to you I say, I'm so very sorry. I'm going to share it anyway.
Viewer Discretion Advised: I'm pretty sure this video was made in 1990. It is extremely corny and involves a white boy trying to rap and a black man dancing in pink pj's. Also yes, the van does say "Heaven or Bust."
