My Failed Attempt At A Wordless Post

We spent last Friday at the Saratoga Racetrack with the kids. It was nice to be just the four of us. The beauty of the track is that it's amazingly laid back. There is no itinerary to follow, you make it as high or low energy as you want. We chose low energy. I have no funny antidotes. No one brought up urinals or penises. As a matter of fact, we talked very little. It was bliss.

It was a wonderful day. I spent the day with my family with nobody there but us. Every one of us had a great day. I think my son had the best day though. He loved seeing the horses up close and loved going down to the track to see the horses go round and round. I even tried to show him how to bet, but I think my 3 year old is still a little too young. Maybe at the age of 5 or 6 he will be ready to go. My daughter basically wanted to play all day but that was fine with me. I loved spending the day with Missy. It is always a great day when we get a chance to do that. I am disappointed now that I have to go back to work considering I have been off for 2 weeks. She has made this vacation great!
