He Went To Bed Alone

So tonight after a romantic day of taking the kids to church and then out to lunch. Matt and I settled in to watch A Serious Man. (yet another nominated film) It sucked. Don't waste your time. He then went off to our room and left me to blog. He returned a short time later to kiss me goodnight.

It was a good kiss. I forgot all about my blog. Then he pulled away and uttered the words that every woman wants to hear on Valentine's Day.

"I love the Godfather movies"

I just stared at him and he looked at me and then my sweet-talker husband said,

"This isn't your best lighting."

It's a good thing he's cute.

I think your husband and my husband should team up to write the book "101 Ways to Kill the Mood". My hubby says some wacky things even when he's actively trying to get some.

yes--nominated films are often awful!

OK OK OK....It was completely dark in the living room and the only light on was from her IPod Touch. It was more of a joke than anything. Should I have joked around like that? No but i did and I was wrong.

Secondly I do love the Godfather movies. Could watch them all day.

I don't understand why nominated films always suck so bad. Who exactly is nominating them? People who like shitty stuff, that's who.

MEN, can't live with them, wouldn't laugh nearly as much without them.

Lol, you kill me.

I am pretty sure there must be a support group for mood killers.

That romantic lug.

A Serious Man... have not seen it, but apparently that's a good thing.

I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button a couple days ago and I liked it better than I thought I would, considering it's like 3 hours long.

I do love Cate Blanchett, though.
