Stress Should Always Come With Chocolate

You might have noticed that my posts have been more sporadic as of late. There are a few reasons for this. Some of it is because some nights my thoughts are just so profound I can't get them out. (aka I just can't think of anything to say and I'd much rather be in bed then staring at a blank computer screen) Some of it is because our closing is supposed to be next Monday so I'm busy getting my house packed up. Of course, now there are some last minute things with the closing that hopefully we get straightened out and can still close on time. Then yesterday someone who is not me charged almost $300 worth of music to my iTunes account. I spent today dealing with that and even now I should be writing a letter to the bank regarding my money, but I'm blogging instead. Don't worry about my priorities, they are just fine. So,um, yeah, a little stressed. Actually I think I could use one of these about now.

Truthfully most of my lack of blogging can be blamed on my own MO. I start something. I'm all gung ho and excited and go at it full force and then after awhile my excitement dies down. I stop spending as much time working on whatever project it was and eventually move on to a new project. I've sort of hit that point with the blogging. My real life has gotten very busy and it's just not feasible to post five times a week.  I'm not really keen on ditching the bloggy world altogether since I enjoy everyone I've met here. So rather then go with the all or nothing approach I thought I'd scale back to just posting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a bit.

Except for next week. Next week I'll be (hopefully) moving and without Internet (and time) to post so I'll give you an epic post dedicated to my husband and his birthday and possibly those infamous chest waxing pics I never shared on Friday to tide you over.

In the meantime I wanted to share with you the video that Jessica generously shared with me tonight when I told her that I was so stressed that not even pictures of Trent Edwards could bring me back from the brink of insanity. For those of you that don't recall Jessica takes care of all of my theraputic needs and once in awhile she gives me a gem like this.

I am not sure what is going on in your minds (Beth or Jess) with a video like that...Maybe spending a whole day in an AARP Driver Training class yesterday has numbed my brain! Pardon Me, but it's weird.Generation Gap? If you need help packing, Beth, give us a call.

Stress shouldn't come with chocolate...STRESS SHOULD COME WITH THAT VIDEO. That was the most random thing I've ever seen in my life and I loved it!

Closing on our house was the most stressful thing I've ever done -- well, besides my wedding. It was awful, so I feel for you!

ugh, i can't see the video at work...will try to get on at home at some point to watch it

other than that
i'm totally you....get a grand idea, run with it gung ho, lose interest and dump it
it's my life :)
it's ok

i'm a totally sporadic poster and it's fine by me if you post whenever--you don't even have to have a schedule
truth is...it's hard for me to keep up with the blogs i follow that post daily--i'm thrilled that many of my blogs just post whenever they have time
it's like a little surprise treat when i see a new post from them

so, it's not all or nothing with us here in bloggy land (if i can be so bold to speak for everyone)

good luck with the closing!!!
ps--pay no attention to the number that show how much you'll have paid for the house including interest over 30yrs, it'll make you want to throw up
just mechanically sign every place that has an x :)

I was a lapsed blogger and then a few months ago, I reupped. I decided that it was a good way to keep track of the things kids did and therapy for me.

I have no idea how people post 5 or 7 days a week. I am a mon, wed, fri blogger myself. And sometimes that is too much to handle.

Good luck with moving!

I think I need to plug my speakers back in. I just don't know where they go. So, yeah, hopefully there's some nice music to go with the video cause it left me feeling a little disturbed.

I found your reason for me to make a cheesecake very compelling. I'm now considering buying one of those pans with a buckle on it so I can make one.

I hear ya on the project thing. It seems we may be VERY similar in that area. Summertime seems to be a good time to slack on the blogs anyway since the weather is beckoning us outdoors.

I'm glad the closing will soon be behind you! That will be a relief. Then you can move and THAT will be a relief then you can unpack and THAT will be a relief... Don't think of all the stress; just think about all the relief you will have this summer. :0)
