I'm beyond beat tonight. I did two runs to Goodwill and two runs to the new storage shed I procured today. Holy crap, I have a lot of useless stuff. I'm not sure how it all fit in here.
Coach and I also moved the furniture around in our room in order to clean under things and oh man,the dust we kicked up. We're both suffering from it now. He more than I since he managed to drop a pipe wrench on his nose. (No, I did NOT throw it at him. It fell off a shelf. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) There was blood. He was excited about it.
In the midst of all this activity, I managed to get 5 loads of laundry done and put away, and my family even got to eat dinner. I'm feel like Superwoman today. A sweaty, dry eyed, stuffy nose version of Superwoman, but Superwoman nonetheless.
I wonder if Superwoman gets tired?
Earlier in the day I chatted for a few minutes with Tony on IM, and I invited him over for dinner. (He invited himself.) I really, really wanted Chicken A La King for dinner. I wanted it so bad, but I didn't have all the ingredients, and my family ended up with the sorry excuse for dinner of bratwurst and canned corn.
Pathetic.
Superwoman would have never fed her family that, if, of course, she had a family. On the upside, both my kids ate and neither of them cried at dinner. That's kinda a big deal over here.
After dinner was over and the kids were all bathed and in bed, Tony was saying his goodbyes (the man has a cat to get home to and a Mets' game to watch) and he offered to come by this weekend and help clean some of the crap out of our house with us. You read that right: he offered to spend his weekend away from work cleaning my house. Like a housekeeper.
Now I'm going to go to bed and dream about winning the lottery.

Did it work? Did you win the lottery? Or is it too soon to ask? Have to wait until the numbers come in and all that?
Let me know.
By the way, does Coach "check" you when you use words like *procure* or does he only do that to me? Nice word. I liked it.
Everyone gets a check no matter who you are. The only two that might get away with it are the kids and there is no reason for two kids to use big words so they might get them too.
Peace out my peeeeeeeeeeeeeeps
