I'm totally tired tonight. So tired, in fact, that I can't be bothered to get up and walk the five steps to my computer. So I'm attempting to blog from my Touch. Actually, that could probably be considered laziness, but I'm going to stick with fatigue and I'd appreciate if you did too.
I keep telling myself that I should prep posts ahead of time, but I keep finding that I simply just don't have enough hours in the day. I don't know about you but when I run out of time it's my sleep that suffers. I think I've only been getting like five and a half hours of sleep a night this week. In case you hadn't pieced it together yet, I'm going to bed early tonight. (that means before one) My husband, for one, will be thrilled, but I hate to spend the day not chatting with you, my fellow bloggers.
So I have a question for you. If you could compete in one Winter Olympic event what would you pick?
I know you think I'm going to say the snowboarding halfpipe, and as tempting as it is to pick the event with the uniform that hides the most poundage. There is just something about speedskating that calls to me. Everytime I watch them go around that rink I want to do it. I would totally rock that sport.
But first I should probably get back to the gym or at least get off this couch.

Figure Skating. NO QUESTION.
Halfpipe all the way. It just looks so THRILLING.
Yeah, i wish i could do figure skating - and spin around really fast like they do. Awesome.
Easy. Ski Jump. To me it looks like the closest thing to flying. Keep in mind I would never bungee jump (trusting my life to a rubberband? no thanks) or go skydiving, so there better be some serious powder when I land.
Figure skating, for sure. As I told my hubby last night, if there was a rink in Gainesville FL I would be there taking classes faster than you can say "triple axle".
Good luck going to bed early -- if you learn the trick, tell me how!
figure skating with a good song and lots of sparkles (i'm assuming the body comes with it)
i'm in bed every night by 9pm
every night :)
I would say figure skating would be my first choice, followed by speed skating.
But I can't even stand up in skates, so who am I kidding?! :D
bobsledding or luging except for that whole danger thing. . .I would want to float down the ice surrounded by pillows. it's odd that I've never had much success with that dream. . .
Downhill skiing because skiing is awesome. However Shaun Whites tricks were pretty freaking cool!
Curling.
I'm not coordinated for anything super cool, but I can damn well sweep the floor.
Get some rest, woman!
Alpine skiing without a doubt
hmmm... curling. Yes, curling. Big rock, brooms, ice, and target.
Or... speed skating. I love watching Apollo Ohno. Did you know that the Koreans call him the "king of fouls" and that one Korean company made toilet paper with Ohno's face on it. Yep. All the more reason to cheer him on.
